SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. 鈥?The Sarasota Police Department is currently investigating a shooting.Police said the shooting occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the Sarasota Commons, a strip mall located in the 900 block of North Beneva Road.Detectives spent more than five hours collecting evidence in the parking lot outside the U.S. Post Office. Officers said one person was shot and transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. A number of major chains in recent weeks have filled hundreds of thousands of jobs, helping to fill the void as millions have filed for unemployment.On Thursday, the federal government announced that an additional 5 million workers filed for unemployment, bringing the total number of recently unemployed to 22 million.Although many positions have been filled, there is still a need for workers in critical  gourde stanley roles.
