At Novak Manor, there are no shortage of pumpkins or creepy clowns 鈥?the haunted house has it all. We have people that just drop things off. We have a casket that s in the garage. It was just donated last year,  Adam Novak said.                        TMJ4, Adriana Mendez                Novak Manor is back and ready for frights and fundraising this coming Halloween season.    For Adam Novak, transforming his home into a house of nightmares is a labor of love. stanley cup  I love the decorating. I love the building. I m a hands-on kind of person. This is where I find most of my enjoyment,  Adam added.Adam has been decorating Novak Manor for the past decade, but after a battle with the city due to a permit and zoning issue last year,  the haunted house s future was up in the air. Going through that process was very nerve-racking because it took six months to get the final answer,  Adam recalled.Tha stanley tumbler t answer came back in May when a special permit was granted to allow visitors to enter through their haunted house. To be able to come back this year has been so exciting. Whenever this happens to end, we want it to be on our terms. We don t want anyone to ever tell us we can t do it, mainly because we are trying to be as respectful as possible,  Adam said.And that s why these decorations are up in August. I started at the Wicked Hop, I was a cook there,  recalls Oscar Castaneda.  I was dr stanley termosy iving down this street and I saw the building was for sale and my wife called and we made a business. One day we owned the building and two months later we opened and said we re going to call it O stanley quencher scar s. Oscar s Pub and Grill.The p vaso stanley ub has plenty of space for customers, but Oscar s is only seating people outside on the patio for now. They get a wide variety of customers. On a regular day you can see people from downtown, lawyers, people with suits,  Castaneda says.  The Mayor comes here once in a while. We also get the guy who is painting the house across the street, the construction worker and the city workers come in to pick up some burgers, so you can everybody. That makes me feel really good because everybody s comfortable at Oscar s Pub and Grill. Why are they comfortable you ask  The big, ol  burger. Half-pound black angus beef that s fresh,  explains Castaneda.  You have fried onions, fried jalapenos, chorizo, bacon, homemade bread delivered every day to us from a local bakery and we do homemade fries with a side of guacamole. People go crazy for that.
