4 }, x% Q- R8 g8 K+ Q* Z# b MILWAUKEE 鈥?An 11-year-old boy who was in critical condition after being hit by a driver while riding a bicycle on Sunday has now died.Milwaukee police shared the update Wednesday afternoon.The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner s Office also identified the victim as 11-year-old Tyrone Jr. Reese of Milwaukee. He was pro stanley cup nounced dead on Wednesday.The ME s office states two drivers were facing along Capitol Drive and turned onto Fond du Lac eastbound. They were racing side by side and at a high rate of speed. The victim was riding his bike eastbound on Fond du Lac on the sidewalk. He veered into traffic and was hit by one of the racing drivers. That driver sped off but was later taken into custody.The hit-and-run happened three days prior around 3:15 p.m. near Hoyt and Fond du Lac. Milwaukee police say the boy was crossing Fond du Lac on his bike when he was struck by a driver. The driver ultimately fled eastbound on Fond du Lac.The child was taken to a hospital in critical condition.The driver, a 30-year-old Milwaukee man, has since been arrested. MADISON 鈥?Some vaccinated Wisconsin residents infected with COVID-19 in June and July had as much virus in their nasal pass caneca stanley ages as newly infected, unvaccinated people, according to a new study.Researchers at UW鈥揗adison, Public Health Madison Dane County and Exact Sciences say their findings match those from the CDC study that describes a COVID-19 outbreak in Massachusetts.The Wisconsin researchers say their study suggests the bottom line is that fully vaccinated people who get sick with coronavirus could infect others.The researchers studied nearly 300 COVID-positive samples collected in Wisconsin between June 28 and July 24.
