The driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck died in the collision after the vehicle he was driving was struck by t stanley cup he semi truck. An occupant of the pickup truck and the driver of the semi were both seriously injured in the crash, per KHP.Three other individuals suffered minor injuries.A witness told KSHB 41 other witnesses got out of their vehicles to help a victim before emergency responders arrived on scene. The tow truck was  briefly  on fire, but crews with LFD  quickly  put the fire out, according to Chief Colin Fitzgerald with the Leawood Fire Department.Both eastbound and westbound lanes of traffic were affected by the crash.
